The wine industry calls Phillip “One of the top Pinot Noir winemakers in Australia”…and who are we to argue!
Phillip left his corporate life to travel the world, working with world-class winemakers to learn how to make the best Pinot Noir he possibly could, crafting stunning wines and building a Halliday 5-star winery, making arguably one of the country's finest Pinot Noir wines.
In 1992, Phillip planted his first vineyard in the rich red volcanic soils of the Macedon Ranges of Victoria. He called it Curly Flat, which became one of Australia’s most respected wineries. Since then, Phillip has established a stunning vineyard in Little Hampton (just near Trentham), and continues to make a boutique selection of wines that are amongst our best sellers.
Come and enjoy a wonderful menu specially curated by our kitchen team to pare with Phillip’s wines, and sample one of Australia’s finest Pinot Noir (amongst others!).
